We have changed our registration process this year to make it easy for you to register your children on-line. Below you will find a registration button where you can begin the registration process. Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an automated email response, indicating that your application is pending approval. A staff person from the Youth Foundation’s First Tee program will contact you to confirm your child’s registration in the class selected and to arrange payment. Dear First Tee Parents,

We are excited to welcome you to the fifth edition of The Youth Foundation’s 2010 First Tee of Eagle County summer program! Many of you have been involved for a number of years. We are extremely happy to have you back. Also, we want to welcome all of you who are participating for the first time. We hope all of you have a great time and we are looking forward to helping you have another great summer. Boys and girls in The First Tee are fortunate to have the opportunity to learn golf and life skills at some of the most beautiful golf courses in the world, receiving instruction from a professional staff of talented, dedicated and caring instructors and mentors. Program offerings include:
  • Sports & Fitness for Life Par half-day camp: $60 registration fee for six weekly sessions from 8 am until noon. This camp features instruction in golf, soccer, fitness/proper nutrition, and martial arts, courtesy of Inyodo Martial Arts Studio. This camp is open to boys and girls who will be at least entering first grade in the fall of 2010. The Sports & Fitness for Life Par camp is recommended for beginning golfers or returning golfers who have not passed The First Tee Player or Par level certification tests.
  • Birdie Level golf instruction: $60 registration fee for six weekly two hour sessions; this session is offered to participants who have passed Par level certification testing and provides on course instruction for players.
  • Girls Night Out: $60 registration fee for six weekly two hour evening sessions; This program is open to girls who will be entering 5th grade or higher and places an emphasis on playing golf and learning rules on the course featuring instruction from women professionals. Girls will participate in weekly skills challenges and contests. This program offers great opportunities young ladies to create friendships through the game of golf!
  • Players League: $60 registration fee, and $10 additional green fee for each tournament played; The Players League is comprised of ten member teams representing Gypsum Creek, Eagle Ranch, Red Sky, Cordillera, Sonnenalp, Country Club of the Rockies, Eagle Vail, and Vail Golf Clubs. Participants 10 years or older who are birdie level or higher are eligible to apply to participate in the Players League. Players participate in mandatory weekly practices, plus 8 weekly tournaments. Team members are selected based on qualifying standards established by each participating course.
  • Reduced rate supervised play at Willow Creek: cost is $5 per round on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30-3:30 pm. Available to participants who present a valid First Tee bag tag signed by a session instructor; Pursuant to conditions established by Eagle Vail Golf Course
  • Reduced rate open play at First Tee participating Courses -$10 per round Pursuant to conditions and restrictions established by participating courses and upon presentation of instructor signed, current First Tee bag tag.
